Are Facebook ads going to zero?
2:30 pm July 24, 2008I saw this a few days ago, but passed on it until I caught it on another site. In many cases, this is indicative of too many VC dollars chasing too few really good money making ideas. Ultimately, unless something changes, social networking sites will enjoy massive pages views, but just aren’t going to be big money generators in the near term - either through ads or subscription fees. If for no other reason than that the demographic using these sites regularly are not the big spenders that advertising departments like to chase. You’re better off building a kick ass automotive website
