I’m heading to lovely Bangalore for about a week, so I should have some interesting pictures in a week or two. The flight sucks, but the weather on the other side is sooo much nicer than it is here now (DC area). Also, I’ll be visiting the troops in their brand new digs, so I’m looking forward to that, too.

Startup Says It Can Make Ethanol for $1 a Gallon, and Without Corn
This is making a lot of waves in the media - and for good reason if it’s legit. I think steering the auto manufacturers toward flex fuel cars is the obvious way to reduce dependence on middle eastern oil.

Well, it had to happen sooner or later. Yes, I’m finally giving this a try and we’ll see what happens. The idea is to blog about general topics of interest to me at any given time - with little or no regard for the readership (who will no doubt be confined to my immediate family).
